I just built my AW sunset AR pistol.
Model 1 sales parts and Bushmaster lower.

The pistol buffer parts included a silver washer. I searched the web and found an assembly instruction which showed the washer placed on the spring rod, where the back of the carrier (with its insert) would contact if it bottomed out.

What is the washer for? Is this the correct place for it (I can't figure it could go anywhere else..).
