I think the US Coast Guard used or has this kind of riffle (i think I was that in AMerican Riffle...). Does naybody has the specs ?

Was wondering if anyone tried to build one and if yes, what parts did you use. I'm seriously looking at this since Barret M82 and McMillian tactical are both banned in Canada. If possible, I'd like one semi-auto.

I think you're thinking of .499 LWR.  It's not .50 BMG by a long shot, but it is the one adopted by the Coast Guard.

I know but in May 2003's American Riffle issue it says: "Guardsmen were prebiously using guns chambered in .50BMG but sought something less penetrative for drug interdiction". That's why they switched to the .499LWR.
