Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR 9mm pistol?

I understand that the ballistics of the .223 when fired from a short (<10") leaves alot to be desired.  

What about a 9mm AR pistol that takes 30 rd mags.  

Anyone have one?  Any thoughts?

Would I just be better off with using G18 mags in my G17?

Eek... what a waste :)

Just get a pistol with hi-caps.  I couldn't justify buying an AR pistol, nevertheless one in 9mm!
