I have an AR-15 with a 20" HBAR that is just a bit barrel heavy.  I have an aimpoint mounted on the A2 handle and the weapon is amazingly accurate and is great to shoot.  Does anyone sell a weight that would fit in the space in the stock where the cleaning kit is supposed to go?  I could fabricate something, but would rather have the convenience of something commercially available.

Thanks,
Dave

There may be less expensive alternatives, but this is a safe bet:

I used lead flashing to make a custom buttstock weight.  Cut a 30-60-90 triangle of flashing, roll it up tight and put in the stock of the rifle.  Make it heavier than you want.  That way you can remove weight until it's just right.  At that point, wrap the whole thing in duct tape to protect the foam in the stock and make it quieter.  I'm happy with mine.
