I am considering getting a AR-15 M-16 style rifle. Does anyone have any recommendations for manufacturers (colt, bushmaster armalite, etc.) I hear bushmaster has great service. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

any of the ones you named make a great AR.  If you stick to the big name manufactuers you really can't go wrong.
