I want to buy a used 16" upper ....I see several for sale in the EE and they have 1,000 - 2,000 rounds fired...

I am not looking for match accuracy from a used 16" barrel but I don't want something that will not hit a pie plate at 100 yds either.

Which makes me wonder at what round count does the barrel start to go south..???

Thanks...I was thinking a couple thousand would be no problem for fun shooting; just need some reassurance...
