Anyone recommend Armalite's AR-10? I'm thinking about getting the AR-10A4 Special Purpose Rifle or maybe even the AR-10(T) (however the AR-10(T) doesn't have a flash hider).

Should I get a DSA FAL instead?

Thanks...

foo, your probally going to catch some flak for not asking in ar10 forum, i like mine, but its good i like to tinker because it hasen't been 95+% relible. it recoils significantly less than m1a, not sure about fal, i've never handled or fired a fal. mine is quite accurate and its just getting broke in! oh and its the cromed infantry weight barrel. if you get one just keep a quote from dillinger in mind, you can't trust a woman or an autoloader.

The one advantage of the Fal is that its been out there for a long time. The DSA arms are among the best and mags and equipment are readly avlable. The AR-10 type rifles have the adantage that many of the parts will interchange with the ar-15. Both are awsome. I would check out the knight sr-25 and the armilite. Neather will be cheap.

Check out the AR-10 forum.  I have one and I like it alot.  So far it has ran 100%, but I haven't stressed it any.  I think the reliability issues are a thing of the past.
