Does anyone here have experience with this sight that they would share?

Does it function well as a sight?

Is it sturdy?

What is the weight compared to a standard FSB?

I wouldn't give my money to that Dick(Swann that is).  He will just pass it own down to support more libtard politicians.  It could be the best sight in the world and I still wouldn't buy it.  But thats just me.

I like mine as well.
Disregard the people that talk shit with no experience with a piece of gear.
If it works for you should be all that matters.

I don't understand how you guys can spend your money with someone who openly supports anti gun politicians.  I mean you have to be a real bumb@$$ to support anti gun politicians when you are in the business of manufacturing gun related products.  Hey maybe Mayor Bloomberg will start making some nice AR products so he can take all the money that you guys spend with him and use it to fund his little anti gun mafia.

Your right, its not a political thread.  Just be mindful of where your money could go if you choose to spend it with the A.R.M.S. company.  That is all.

True, I learned to stay away from ARMS after the ARMS mount that came with a ACOG broke.

I guess you guys check out the politics of every owner of every business you give your money to.
The owner of your local 7-11, how did he vote? Owner of the gas stations? Supermarkets?

OP-The sight mounts very securely. Stays in both positions positively. Can't help with the weight as I have a permed muzzle brake. If you like the looks of it, I'm sure you'll be happy with the function aspect.

The 7-11 isn't selling gun parts.

And yes, I do try to know who I give my money and support to. The owner of the local Subway shop is a big donor to gun control and socialist in government, I don't buy his sandwiches.

As I said above, I had one ARMS mount, it broke, LaRue sent me one of their's in exchange for the broken ARMS mount. Mark LaRue is on our side, I support him and other companies like his.

No I don't check every business I buy from, but if I learn of anything like this I take my business elsewhere.

Is any of this even confirmed beyond internet chatter?  what if some smart ass somewhere donated in his name because they thought it would be funny. As in an anti gun politician isnt to anti gun enough to take money from a guy dealing in them. I can see humor in that.

If you dont know WHY he donated then maybe you should mind your own business. Maybe he likes to vote with more in mind than JUST gun rights. What did the other candidates stand for?

I have to think there has to be a REASON for a gunmaker to donate to an anti-gun lawmaker. Interesting that you can pass judgement without asking that question.

ARMS makes QUALITY parts. I know when im shopping for parts that is what im concerned with.

In my opinion the front sight in question is the BEST flip front sight gas block out there.

God forbid everyone makes up their own mind.

The problem with this country is everyone trying to push their beliefs on everyone else. If someone disagrees with Swan, fine don't buy the products.
However this is a tech forum.
OP asked about a piece of gear, not the politics behind it.

Hell, I've owned both Troy and Samson products, remember that fiasco.
