Why do I see some windage knobs that have "scallops" and others look like standard A2 knobs?

Does the ARMS 40 use standard windage parts, just turned around?  If so, one could use a 1/4 minute conversion NM conversion to get a slightly better zero.

the new ones have the special forces "scallops" and 500 meter notch on the A2 sight.

don't know about swapping NM parts.  i think it's fine the way it is.

True, it probably is fine.  I like the scallops.  But a carbine may or may not be able to have point of impact the same as point of aim.  Longer sight radius would be better for that.  Any windage error on zero would only get worst as the range gets further out.  It was just something I thought about.

Thanks!
