Well, Im not sure. I dont think it will fit over the #40A. However, I do believe the TA11 has sufficient eye relief for you to possibly mount the rear lens of the TA11 just ahead of the BUIS without any problems.

NEW AR-GUY IS CORRECT. HERE'S A PIC OF THE #40 STD A2 AND A TA11 IN THE TA51 MOUNT:
[IMG]http://www.thermaldynamics.com/pictures/mstn/ARMS40.JPG[/IMG] OTHER OBSERVATIONS: THE #40 STD A2 WILL NOT WORK UNDER THE TA01NSN IN THE TA51 MOUNT. PUT THE TA01NSN ON AN ARMS #19-S AND IT WILL BARELY CLEAR THE #40 STD A2. THE #40 WITH CHOPPED SMALL APERTURE WILL OFTEN FIT UNDER THE TA01NSN MOUNTED IN THE TA51 MOUNT, BUT NOT ALWAYS. THE OUTER DIMENSIONS OF THE FORGING THAT IS THE TA01NSN BODY SEEMS TO BE THE VARIABLE. WES |

Well, you already have good advice from two guys who know their stuff.
