So the basics are taken care of regarding this rifle and it has a nice set of Troy Micro irons that address the higher rise of the upper. However I am not sure where to go with the optic. I have an Aimpoint C3  on the way and was thinking of using the American Defense AD68L mount to keep the optic lower on the rail.

Thoughts?

Mounted the Aimpoint today using the AD-68L. Keeps it nice and low, co-witness with Micro sights and looks like it will work great.

I don' think you can go wrong with either a low Aimpoint mount by AMD or LaRue. I personally had an Aimpoint Comp on my ARAK (with KAC micros) but ended up switching it out for an Eotech. Couldn't be happier.
