I want to put a muzzle brake on my Kel-tec Sub 2000 in 9mm. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 rather than the 1/2x36 you seem to find on most 9mm carbines.

Any recommendations?

TIA!

if you are looking for a Miculek style try McDonald Precision Components e-bay store... be sure to indicate 9mm for caliber.. I have the EQ on my AR9.. make sure you receive a 9mm

I bought Lone Wolf Distributors 9MM Flash Hider for my Sub2K Gen2 Glock 17 model. It's made with 1/2 X 28 threads for their 9MM barrels.

A muzzle brake will do very little for a 9mm. Simply not enough gasses

Rousch sports had some options. I bought my flash hider from him. Shipped fast and worked great. I liked his options because they were nitrided and matched my barrel.

I drilled out a Miculek. I tapped it to the first vent. Mine has an 8" barrel, it works great.

LANTAC Dragon 9mm available in 1/2x28, but $144, unless you snag it when it goes on sale, usually around $80-$90 then.
