Has anybody noticed how mnay times when we see a pic of an AR it is on somebody's bed? I'm not trying to get overly analytical, but I can't help but think there is some sort of Freudian gun love going on here. I guess the big question is, do you still respect you AR in the morning after you use it and take pictures of it lying on the bed?

It ain't called gun prOn for nothing.

Seriously though, my safe is in the bedroom so for me it's just throw it on the bed and snap a few shots.

Someone posted a pic of their AR on their bed with peach colored satin sheets a while back - So I had to give them a hard time.

Depends on how many times I kicked it during the night.

All I can say is, if you just went out shooting a couple hundreds rounds through the AR *let it cool down* before you hop into bed with it.  That friggen barrel gets hot!!

Ohio Rapid Fire is making their own FNC lower receiver but they keep getting delayed on their AK5/FNC parts kits. I think they were going to charge $2200 per rifle, which isn't that much cheaper than the $2400-2500 people are asking for pre-89 imported Belgian FNCs.

Registered sears are going up in price pretty quickly, I see them around $3500-4500 now. Ohio Rapid Fire is sitting on a supply of sears for their rifles, but their parts kits are no where in sight.

Al Pacino had one with a shorter barrel.

That's ok, the longer ones are better in bed.

I *believe* that is a CAL of which there are only a few in the country. They were very expensive to make and the precursor the the FNC.

I would guess that it may be the only spot in the hole with enough clear area around it for a photo opt.  Also it is the only place with a 5 ft x 5 ft solid color for a background.  My wife does not allow anything else in the bed besides her!

Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, gettin' the mail, watercooler, food shopping, mowing the lawn, son's baseball game....

I do know of a few people who pack sidearms in Church... ARs would be nice, but they are hard to conceal.
