Thanks I've been in touch with Harrison. I was just wondering if any of the forum users own one and would like to share their experience.

I've got one of Harrison's barrels. Still working on building it up though.

I have never heard of popping primers on the 6.8 (even though I have heard of it with 556). Where is this info coming from?

I see. i would have one but i don't reload yet so i'm working on that first. hope you find what you are looking for. lets not drag this into a 6.8 topic. i hope we can respect the OP thread.

Agreed! Lets keep it focused on the BRX. I think this cartridge in the AR15 platform has great potential. 105gr bullets travelling at 3000 fps from a 20 inch barrel (according to Harrison) would give the AR15 true 1000 yds capabilities.

is this a .243?

Is this cartridge 223 based? Is the brass fireformed or can a die take care of it?

It's based off of the 6mm Remington Benchrest. The shoulder is pushed forward a tenth of an inch. Requires fireforming.

It runs 100 fps slower than 243, but fits in an AR15 platform. This will be the new go-to cartridge for the AR15.

I dunno......I've been looking at the .243 WSSM. The specs on it add about 200fps to the .243
It also fits in an AR 15 upper with a std. lower.

First I have heard of this. I'll take at look at what he has.

Is this a question or a statement? This is what I was posting to. Isn't this the topic of this thread?

Sorry if I'm out of line mods, but I just don't see it.

What sort of accuracy are you getting?

I'm looking at building one. I don't have one at this time.
