I can't remember if it was the AK brake of the Mini-Y comp on BM rifles that were REALLY lou. Maybe both.

It's the Mini Y-COMP that is to be avoided at all costs....They are so that that they are uncomfortable to shoot with ear plugs AND ear muffs on....The AK brake is loud, but is comfortable to shoot with the standard yellow ear plugs in...

I've gotten rid of all my Mini Y-COMPs and still have my Bushmaster AK brake....as Bill Cosby says the proof is in the pudding  ;-)
