Good place?
i was looking at RRA uppers that were cheaper than RRA directly. How are they? Service? I was thinking about getting a complete upper and lower form them. Like this upper www.adcofirearms.com/rockriver/rrauppers.cfm?page=rra THanks MadMan

Excellent service. I bought my RRA Varmint 16 from Adco and Steve responded to all my questions quickly and I got a good deal too! Adco is one of the "can't miss" dealers you'll find at AR15.com. Highly recommended. |

When Steve tells you that you can't order your lower and upper at the same time it's for legal reasons. Must be two seperate transactions. I learned that the hard way.

I had barrel work done with ADCO. I was very impressed with the speed of the deal, as well as the communication (almost seemed like instant messenger). I had the barrel shortened and lightened under the handguards on my RRA. I was impressed with the work and had minor scuffs on the barrel, which ADCO offered to re-park. I declined the offer, but feel that they would have gotten the gun squared away. Hope this helps.

I purchased a TA31 ACOG from Steve on Thursday, it shipped about an hour after I got off the phone with him and it's scheduled to be here tomarrow.

Steve lied to me once. He told me that my custom(ish) upper would take about 3-4 days to ship.
I ordered it on a Sunday night and he actually shipped it on Monday morning! Well, Michael Moore would call that lying anyway! |

I have already decided ,Steve will be doing my AR restoration next month . The only thing I would say is if it is something special make sure you call and talk to him first . Sometimes you have to wait for RRA to get off thier duff and send stuff to him . |

I have not met the gentlemen, but I can vouch for his character as reflected by his actions.
He has been very supportive of us over here in Iraq, both military and civilian. I had some "hardware" needs that he addressed without hesitation and at what was certainly a significant financial loss to him. He has done this for others who were in uniform. I think that says alot about the man. I know that when I return to my home state of Ohio, I plan on patronizing his business exclusively and I will strongly recommend him to all of my shooting buddies. This is not a slight to the other sponsors, it seems the ones on this board are all quality folks. But Steve gets my fullest endorsement. [Edited to correct a spelling error] |

After trouble ordering a RRA 9mm from another dealer, I cancelled that order and went with ADCO. The upper was shipped the same day, and recieved shortly thereafter. I will be sending more business to ADCO.
