I was thinking about getting an compact ACOG 3x24. I will be using it for CQB and to shoot out to 50-100 yards. Would this be a good fit for me or will an aimpoint or an eotech serve me better for what I am going to use it for?

Eotech or Aimpoint for CQB
ACOG for beyond 100 yards

___

Agreed. The EOTech will offer more situational awareness for CQB, whereas the ACOG is okay for CQB, though will offer better performance due to it's magnification at longer distance.

Or if you just have money to burn....try an ACOG TA31 DOC...best of both worlds..or even better buy a TA01NSN..get a daniel def. mount and put a JPOINT holosight on it. That setup seems to be the new "in" thing for some of the more elite in sandbox.

I'm using my EOTech (which I got from C4iGrant of G&R Tactical) for CQB role.

The Aimpoint would be also a good alternate choice, I have both.

According to some who attended SHOT, Trijicon will soon be releasing a NEW 3x compact ACOG that has much improved eye relief, a CHEVRON reticle, and a 600M BDC stadia ladder. I know what my next ACOG is going to be!!!!
