A full size ACOG will not clear an ARMS 40A2.

the only rear BUIS i've found to clear a ta01 (and the like) is the KAC 300m site. not sure about the KAC 600m unit though.

Troy will clear it too. I'm sure GG&G's MAD does as well. KAC's 300M and 600M are similar in height when folded, there's a lot of room left yet. Even the unwieldly Matech will clear an ACOG.

The ARMS 40 only fits some of the time if you use the TA51 mount. It depends on how the tolerances stack on the ARMS sight and the ACOG casting. If it does fit, you'll be lucky to slide a piece of paper between them. The #40L is the safe choice if you want to go the ARMS route. |
