I just picked up the new ACE Hammer stock from DEL-TON last week and I'm very impressed with it. The stock is built like a damm tank. ACE claims it to be the strongest stock on the market. Kinda on the heavy side but it seems to even out the weight of the rifle a little better. It actually sits on its own 7 position tube and the cheek riser is adjustable also, very comfortable. all the moving parts just glide with ease and lock up very tight. I think ACE did a bang up job on this one and I'm sure they will sell a ton of them as long as people dont mind the added weight.  Its priced right along with the UBR, and SOPMOD at around 250-260.00. DEL-TON has em in stock, i ordered it last friday, tuesday afternoon it arrived.

anyone else using one of these? i have yet to shoot the rifle with it mounted. thoughts??

heres the specs from ACE:

Four sling mount positions - 2 quick detach and 2 mounting points on gusset
Adjustable cheek rest
Precision machined from heat-treated 6061-T6 aluminium.
Finish - hard coat anodized black
7 position mil-spec buffer tube (included)
Lockable adjustment lever insures no accidental release or adjustment of the stock.  The adjustment lever screw is machined from heat treated 8620 steel to absorb the recoil of heavier calibers
Buttstock position can be preset to desired length of pull
For extra length of pull, an ACE 1/2" or 1.0" recoil pad can be attached directly to the machined butt
Comes standard with aluminum buttplate
When breaching doors or when using the butt as a battle hammer, fully collapse the buttstock.  The Hammer Buttstock is strongest in this position.  Damage to the buffer tube can occur if stock is extended
Ambi sling mount/gusset with internal taper that reinforces the receiver estension tube and the receiver
Note: If the cheek rest is in a raised position, the weapon can be charged with the stock in the 6th or 7th position ONLY

I always thought that stock was a solution trying to find a problem, but now that you mentioned the cheek piece not letting you operate the charging handle it seems to just be a problem itself.

That cheek piece is a deal killer.  If you can't charge the weapon, it is useless.  The only stock ACE has ever made that is decent is their skeleton stock.
