I've recently been using the AAC MPW 5.56 with a AAC Blackout 51T Flash hider, and was somewhat surprised at how loud the "tuning fork" ting ting ting is every time I fire. I like the muzzle device quite a bit however and consider the sound a pleasant quirk. To date I've fired approximately 600 rounds with "the tuning fork" attached. The recoil feels to be directly backwards into my shoulder and I find this very easy control. Compare this to the battlecomp which feels like it's pushing the muzzle down. The AAC Blackout also does not have any concussive blast that is felt when on the side of, or behind the rifle. Compare this to the battlecomp which has a manageable but very distinguishable concussive force with each shot. I shoot in classes quite a bit and always find it polite to not have a muzzle device which "whips their hair back and forth" with each shot. More to come as I shoot with "the tuning fork" more.

I'm curious to see if there is an audible ping with the 51t FH on my 9" 300blk upper using an SDN-6 suppressor. I decided to run with the AAC brake on my 5.56 upper with an M4-2000. Both cans are in form 4 limbo at the moment.

I'd be very interested in hearing if there is. I'm planning on getting a suppressor from AAC in about 7 months.
