Just for grins I put the lower from my RRA NM A2 on my M4gery, and it felt a lot more balanced and pointed a lot better. Not so front heavy. anyone else feel the same way?

During the AWB, KAC sold their SR-14/M4s with A2 stocks. Nothing new.

Have done it and didn't like it. Stock didn't allow for a good nose to charging handle, to long. Replaced it with a RRA stock, used it once then bought a vltor instead.

The standard stocks for my two 16" M4 test mules are A2s. They may look a bit hokey, but I like the balance that the A2 provides:

I use an A1 on my lightweight barreled AR.

For me it's a perfect compromise... Although, I'm currently building (I just need funds for a lower) a 16" M4gery with a collapsible stock.

Cheers,
Chris

Yeah I think everybody had one of those back during the ban.

I recently put an LMT 16" M4 upper on a Colt MT6601 (A2) lower and left lower as factory stock.
Went to range and had nothing but FTF. I wonder if the A2 stock, buffer and spring set up caused the problems?

Any ideas on this?

I like 'em that way too Top'. I've never been a big fan of 6 position (Or 4 or 2 position for that matter) stocks and am replacing the one on my Bushy M-4gery with a fixed stock this week. The collapsable stock on the M-4 I carried a couple of years ago was "Uber-Cool" and "High-Speed" (For driving around a chemical weapons depot) but the A2 stock just feels better when I'm shooting and I agree, for ME at least the balance is better.
