Would the strength of the A2 reciever be considerably stronger than the A3 (irons only).  I'm not trying to start a debate on which one to get, but more like whether A2 reciver would be stronger than the A3 if we're doing irons only.

By definition, yes, the A2 (and A1) are stronger but less versatile...

What exactly are you planning?

A1/A2 would be the better choice all around
for irons only. Get an A4/flattop if you plan
on going the optics route, though
