A1 (Skinny Barrel) gas block question.

Does anyone know where I can find a railed gas block for an A1 contour barrel? I want to put a skinny barrel on my SBR but want to retain the flip up front sight and I have had no luck locating a gas block that will work on the skinny barrel.

If no railed blocks are available I could use a low profile and put the front sight on the FF handgaurd but would prefer to use the railed block.

Any help?

YHM sells a railed gasblock (4th one down, .625 diameter):

Flip sights that mount on gas blocks are generally too tall to mount on rails (as they are different heights).

So if you go the rail route you'll most likely need a new flip up front sight.

PRI however makes a .625 Gas Block/Front flip sight combo that will work for your situation.

YHM has a Single Rail Gas Block .625" (YHM-9386A) for $64.00 HERE.
