Hello all,

I have an A1 upper that I was thinking of selling to finance an A2 upper.

I've checked the Exchange Forum and couldn't find a comparable deal. It is a complete A1 upper with tear drop FA, 20" pencil bbl, birdcage. Any ideas on what to ask? I would sell it complete with bolt etc.

It's off a Sendra lower so originality isn't an issue for me. Is it worth keeping for any other reasons? I already have an SP1 w/o FA and was looking for more of a target rifle.

Thanks for any input.

Any marks on the barrel? Receiver?

What handguards, the triangular?

The right side of the carry handle says L M
The barrel has 4T663 MP Chrome Bore
No other markings on the upper.

It's an A1 so it does have the triangular handguards. It is preban.

The upper is a military spares contract upper by LAR/Martin Marietta. I'm not familiar with the 4T663 code - but it's probably the manufacturer's CAGE code (digits are right for that). MP Chrome Bore are the A1 style markings to indicate a chrome lined chamber (always required on military barrels) and fully chrome lined bore, and that it's been magnafluxed (magnetic particle inspection).

If it's in nice shape, it's probably worth $400-$500 - maybe more if you part it out.
