First, I don't have pictures yet but I will soon (if anyone cares). Second, my parts for the build were:

RRA 9mm flat top upper
RRA 9mm bolt/bolt carrier (with a real roll pin installed instead of crappy rolled up piece of steel)
Hahn bottom loading mag block (secured with tension bar)
TROS 9" 3 lug barrel
Samson 9" rail system (soon to be replaced with a 7" rail)
YHM flip up front site
ARMS flip up rear site
CMMG pistol lower w/ ACE pistol buffer tube kit and enidine buffer
4 32 round polymer PRO magazines

Now onto range report. First thing I did was load three mags with 10 rounds each and then the fourth with 30 rounds. Inserted one of the mags with 10 rounds loaded and fired. First round fired and ejected, but second round got hung up when feeding. Cleared the jam and the rest of the mag feed fine. Inserted the second mag with 10 rounds and had no problems. Inserted third mag with 10 rounds and had no problems. Inserted fourth mag with 30 rounds and had constant feeding problems until about the 20th round. Should mention that when loading the mag to 30 rounds, I encountered alot of resistance. It almost felt like it couldn't take another round. My guess is my mags springs are really tight right now and need to be compressed for awhile. I then filled that same mag with 10 rounds and didn't experience a problem. I will fill all my mags and let them sit for a week or so to help with break-in and then go back to the range. My guess is the problems will go away. I think I will also try and get some Colt mags. Anyone have a source for Colt 9mm magazines?

Well, I hope this helps someone out.

Colt mags kick ass. I have a similar setup to yours, and never a feed jam with the colt mags. Botac has them for $50.

I guess it is a no brainer then, ditch PROMAG's and get Colt.

i'm waiting for the pics especially the 9" barrel with the 9" forearm. i've always liked the look of just the flash hider sticking out the end. did you put an HK 3 lug FH on it or is it for a can?

The one thing that didn't work out the way I wanted it to was the rail system. I figured that a 9.25" barrel would stick out past the Samson 9" rail system by .25" . However, that wasn't the case. The rail system was about .25" longer than the barrel. Oh well, it still looks pretty cool.

i like it! if it were me as long as the forearm didn't heat up when shooting with the FH i would leave it. it would be nice if you could find a can to fit inside. a verticle grip would help ensure that your hand doesn't get if front of the barrel.

Funny you should say that. I also bought the 5" TROS 3 lug barrel just for that reason, but guess what I did...I bought a Gem-tech MK9K! Damn it! That thing has a diameter of 2"! I can't find a single rail system that has an inside diameter that will fit a can with an outside diameter of 2". So much for that idea. I can't believe that after all this, my can won't even fit inside a rail system.

I have submitted the Form 1 for my lower and it should be coming in soon so I will be able to use a vertical grip soon.
