What kind of a difference would there be between a 20" or 16" bbl?  Is this even practical?

There's a post on the next page about Chrono results

I don't think a 20in barrel (if you could even find one) would make any kind of sense at all

I was just curious and had never heard of a 20" 9mm

And 45acp peaks out of about a 11" bbl. (Think that factoid came from Hatcher's Notebook relating to tests on the M1 Thompson. IIRC)
