9mm Ejection port case deflector and M261

I have a dedicated upper that I use with my M261 kit. Will the 9mm deflector work with a M261 setup to keep the cases from hitting a left handed shooter (my wife)?

I'm not familiar with the M261 kit, but I can tell you that the deflector works very well with an Atchisson (AKA Ceiner) kit. (And I'm a lefty, too.)

Stag lower with DPMS parts. A1 1/12 upper cut down to 11.5 with perm attached 5" flash hider and M261 kit. This is the 22 LR upper's permanent home, since I don't have another upper for it and don't plan on any more, for now.
