Anyone know anyhthing about this ammo?  Supposedly a Federal Ammo contract to the British?  What are the spec's and how is it?

Don't know the exact specs on this specific loading, but I have shot lots of the Federal 95gr. soft point stuff in years gone by. The bullet is sorta stubby and flat tipped, so that may affect feeding in some guns such as unmodified Hi Powers, etc. but all in all a decent plinking load.

The SP will rarely expand, and the velocity as I recall is only around 1300 or less FPS, so I certainly would not recommend it as a carry load. I seem to recall that Michigan State Police may have issued it for a time and / or possibly Illinois, (more PC, don't you know) but it did not do a much better job than hardball, so they gave up on it.
