I bought a 9mm colt upper for my m16.  The m16 has the solid stock with a long buffer.  I would like to put a collapseable stock on it.  I understand you need a heavy buffer for the 9mm; 5 oz. plus.  The long buffer I think is heavy enough but too long.
What do y'all recommend for this and where do you get them?  I have a 3 position stock but a short light buffer came with it.
Advice appreciated.

Rifle buffer is 5.2oz....... If you want to run Full-Auto 9mm with a "CAR" (short tube) stock, at a miniumum, you want to run the "9mm" buffer (it weigh 5.5oz).

There is a "buffer" thread where all the buffers is shown, I be at work, and have it saved to favorites at home, unless somebody with better search function can find it and link it...  it;s titled "H buffer" I think.

EDIT: I be home now, here is the link---->  Buffers
