Does anybody sell 80% 308 receivers that are forged? All the ones I see are milled. Here is an example of a 308 with a forged reciever:

Yes, there are just few though, Colfax is one that comes to mind...and that one is a DPMS LR-308 G1 pattern.

Most 80's are machined from billet stock on vertical or CNC centers...

Good luck.

Do the Colfax ones come and go? They don't list any on their website right now.

They seem to have a hard time keeping them in stock...they are based in OR and they have
a retail shop as well...

You can also try: KE Arms, they make forged and billet 80's...

Thanks for the suggestions. I see those are forged, but the reason I am looking for a forged receiver is because I am trying to find one without an integrated trigger guard (I am trying to make an SR25 clone and want to use a KAC trigger guard).

I'm actually looking for one that looks like the above picture. Sorry for the confusion.

Most use the solid trigger guard design for added strength and less fuss to Install the
conventional design, etc.

This is the closest thing I can find for your needs:

However, it uses a AR-10 style upper with angled buffer tower...

Why not just get the Armalite pictured and go from there?

What's the reasoning for the 80%? Want you're own markings?
