Does anybody sell 80% 308 receivers that are forged? All the ones I see are milled. Here is an example of a 308 with a forged reciever:

Yes, there are just few though, Colfax is one that comes to mind...and that one is a DPMS LR-308 G1 pattern.
Most 80's are machined from billet stock on vertical or CNC centers... Good luck. |

Do the Colfax ones come and go? They don't list any on their website right now.

Thanks for the suggestions. I see those are forged, but the reason I am looking for a forged receiver is because I am trying to find one without an integrated trigger guard (I am trying to make an SR25 clone and want to use a KAC trigger guard).
I'm actually looking for one that looks like the above picture. Sorry for the confusion. |

Most use the solid trigger guard design for added strength and less fuss to Install the conventional design, etc. This is the closest thing I can find for your needs: http://genesiscnc.com/product/gen-2-80-lower-receiver/ However, it uses a AR-10 style upper with angled buffer tower... |

Want you're own markings? |
