 Any sources or thoughts on 7mm-08 upper?

I use a 7mm-08 for hunting and think it would make an outstanding upper for an AR if you wanted to hunt with it. It is an outstanding round with good ballistics and less recoil than a 308 .

The new remington comes in 7mm-08.
http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire_rifles/Model_R-25.asp I have a Remington SPS varmint in 7mm-08 and I love it. It seems to like the heavier bullet weights, but since I hand load, it does not concern me. There are a few factory ammo offerings and they are all in the 120-150 range. There are however a large selection of 7mm projectiles with high BC and SD. |
