You can use a ar15 lower with modified mags or get a AR47 lower.

Colt was the only manufacturer to market a lower marked 7.62X39. It was sold as a complete gun the model 6850, Match Target lightweight. They no longer make it. I know of no one who markets a lower marked 7.62X39. But as stated above any AR-15 lower will take a 7.62X39 upper.

In addition to the AR47, don't forget the MGI modular lower w/ AK mag well.

Below is a pic of mine.

That's cool as hell. I always thought a 7.62X39 AR would make a great SBR.

How do you like that MGI lower ?

Any more info you can give us on your set up.

I love the MGI lower setup.
I'm using mine in FA for my RDIAS host.
I think its unfortunate that they don't see the potential of the Colt 9mm mag setup over the Sten mags. They think the Sten mags are more popular and putting the Colt 9mm mags on the back burner.
So I'm using my old Hahn 9mm block and putting it in the 5.56 mag well.
I'm on the list for an extra 5.56 mag well so I don't have to move the block.
With all the different configurations they are coming out with, I don't see why you would want to buy any other lower when this one is definitely the most flexible.
I hear the belt fed 5.56 and 7.62x39 modules are just around the corner.
