probably not as a production one. but I am sure there are a few custom gunsmiths around that could do it for you....and I would mark the barrel 308x39 to ID it as a smaller bore......

Though I doubt it is accurate information, I sent an inquiry to Model 1 Sales last week about whether their 7.62x39 barrels used 308 or 310 bullets. They emailed back that they were for 308. Their barrels are made by ER Shaw. Since I just completed the build, I've only fired about 15 rnds thru it and those have all been the brass cased MFS 2000 that Cabela's sells. I'm pleased so far.

DPMS uses Wilson barrels for that caliber and the groove on them mics at .3095 so basically it's a .310. Just thought I'd let you know.

That's funny. When I ordered my Model 1 barrel, they told me it was .310 diameter. And it is.

IIRC, you could shoot .308 pills through a .310 bore with some change in accuracy (at least 100 yds and in). I don't have any experience in this, so don't hold my post accountable.

If I heard right, Adam at Ballistic Advantage does his 7.62x39 barrels with a .308 bore.
