Just need to pick a length I want something that is versatile. Would I bee losing velocity with the shorter barrel will it lose accuracy over a 10.5?

Will you lose velocity, yes. I have a 7.5" PWS in 7.62 x 39 that is a very easy gun to shoot. I have no problem hitting steel at 200 yds.

I really enjoy my 7.5, lots of fun, huge fireballs, big concusion, just plain fun to shoot. I put a muzzle brake on it for a little extra thump.

What brand barrels are you guys running? Most of the 7.62x39 barrels I'm finding are not from well know manufactures.
