Here's an article I wrote on LWRC's SIX8 for Shotgun News.
Enjoy......

Good article.
Nice gun.

I agree, good article. I can't wait to see the gell tests on the gold dot. I am currently using the 120 SST for my duty load, but will switch if the 6.8 gold dot works like the 5.56.

Very cool. I noticed the focus on selecting a powder that is the least heat-sensitive, considering the region it will be employed.

Can you provide any more details on the "Kriss Pistol" shown in the slide show?

I read that already great job. I love the 6.8.

David, has anyone put 6.5G in that magazine yet? Think it will work?

I suggested a dedicated Grendel lower to AA some years ago for identical reasons
but it never went anywhere. Perhaps it will be revisited now....
I doubt anyone has tried 6.5mm Grendel in the new magazine, but it would
be interesting.

Nice write up and good to see a real SBR getting press.

Great article! Very well written! Even the references to the 6.5G were very tactful.
Glad our war is over but a spattering of skirmishes here & there.
Like you said both are great intermediate cartridges. That raised the bar on the AR-15 platform. I figure, even the AR-10 folks are keeping an eye on the 6.8 & the 6.5.

Also,
Sounds like you all had fun!!

PS Did you keep any brass? LOL!

CavRecon,
Here is a old post on 6.8 for duty use. But, still maybe something to think about.
6.8 Ammo choices

IIRC, on the LWRC forum (or was it 68forums?) earlier this year, there were photos of the 90gr Gold Dot recovered from gel, showing excellent expansion and weight retention.
