Yes these are newbie questions, but if can build 2 Hot Rods, I think I can figure this out...with your help of course
I'm in the home stretch in regards to getting parts for a lightweight 6.5 CM build.
I need advice in regards to the BCG and buffer/spring.
So far I've got a Xanthos 308 action, with the Xanthos handguard
24" Christensen 6.5 CM barrel, with rifle gas system
SLR adjustable block
Minimalist stock
I'd like to keep the build as light as possible. I'm looking for advice on lightweight parts.
I'd like to get one of the VSeven Titanium BCGs, but I've read that it would be too light.
Will an adjustable gas block help with that?
Buffer tube...since I'm a long armed knuckle dragger, I need a longer length of pull, so the shorter carbine stocks aren't really an option.
Which buffer/tube/spring assembly would you recommend?
If I went with one of the Lightweight VSeven BCGs, what buffer set-up and adjustable gas set-up would work best?
Or am I SOL, when it comes to using a lightweight BCG, since I have a longer barreled 6.5CM with a rifle length gas system?
Thanks
