Is the 6P with p60 lamp able to withstand the 5.56 recoil? The rifle in question is for home defense/bump in the night type work. I will eventually up grade to a shock isolated bezel or a M500.
Thought?

Thanks

Don't bother with the 6P bezel.
The P60 lamp is fine, but
do yourself a favor and get the Z32 shock isolated bezel already
It's minimal insurance.

I have run a 6Z on an MP5 and an M4 without incident. Recently I attached it to my Remington 870 until I pick up a 951.

The light did withstand the 00buck but having had two dedicated light forends from Surefire go south on me in the past I went ahead and ordered the Z32 that Grant and IronBalaclava spoke of. I realize it's the same bezel as the dedicated lights I used in the past but still felt it was quality insurance for a small price.

Bezel on the light:

I used a 6P for years with the Z32 bezel, I never had a single problem.
