Hi everyone, I"m new too this forum but have owned my Ar for several years. It has not been shot very much, but that is going to change. I have been visiting this site for a couple of days to learn as much as I can about AR"s. I tried doing a search on this but came up empty, hoping for some help as to exactly what I have. THanks in advance

I have a colt post ban (no bayo lug) match target competition hbar
ser # CCHXXXXXX
REMOVABLE CARRY HANDLE
The barrel  says cmp 5.56 nato 1/9 HBAR with a pinned on 3 port compensator is this factory or was it installed by the distributor and if  factory does this mean i have a 6700C

Also on the right side of the upper is marked C  and AF intertwined which thanks to black tiger on A previous post today i learned stood for COLT and ALCOA FORGE.
the front sight is marked  D98 RI (IN A CIRCLE)1   What does this stand for?
Thanks again
