Has anyone ever seen a picture of a model 605 fitted with a collapsible stock? Just wondering. Seems like a natural. If anyone has such a pic - please post it! (If it's a BM dissapator please IM me instead.) Thanks.

The development of the 605 predates all but the first generation retracting stock.  The design was dropped before Colt released their first retracting stock in the pattern more commonly known, and there is no instance of the 607 stock being fitted to the 605 that I know of.  Somone in the tool room might have fitted the 607 stock to the 605, anything is possible, but there is no indication that such a modification was ever produced as standard, even as a prototype.

This is based on what I've seen, and my belief that if there were quickly available pictures of a 605 with a retracting stock they would've been scanned and/or otherwise posted by now.

Thanks for the reply. I figured that was probably the case. Have to say that IMO the original 2 pos. Gen 1 607 stock would look great on the 605. Just wondered if it ever happened, field-expedient wise.
