I know it's marked .223, but can I shoot Lake City through it.  I guess the chamber is just a little tighter, so maybe not as reliable?  Is it a safety concern?  If I can only shoot .223, I guess wolf is the cheapest plinking ammo, huh?

yes you can shoot 556 in it

DPMS,usely marks 223 on their barrels,but their actually chambered for 5.56.
