Ive been to

Wal mart

CVS

Wallgreens

Circut city

I cant find any 1.5v N type  batteries

What does the package say?

And what to look for besides just (N Type 1.5v)

It will say 1.5v N (there is a similar battery but much higher voltage - do not use).

Try Sears Hardware ($3.19/pr) or Lowes.

Must be a FL thing - cannot turn around without bumping into them here.  Pay me freight and cost of batteries and I will send you a box of them.  Batteries Plus down the street has the Duracell Procell Line for a good price.

What is the package mark as? Do they say N 1.5V on them?

I find them everywhere too, Wal-Mart, convenience stores, super market, etc....

I was wondering why you see negative posts about the N battery model.... For instance when someone asks about purchasing an EO Tech you'll see a few responses in the effect of "don't get the N model" is it the shorter battery life? I for one prefer the smaller size of my 551, it fits perfectly on my Oly in front of my BUIS..... I don't really care that it has a short battery life!

To keep them from moving put some soft foam ear plugs in. This was if you need ear plugs you have them.

Yeah that me I didnt want a longer one ! I want the eotech as far away as possible!

Matter of fact I wich I could move it forward even more!!

Im just piss because my store dont carry any!! I will try RADIO SHAK Today!

OTHER than Bitching about finding batteries I like the 551!!

I had 2000 to blow on my 4th AR15 and  stuff so money wasnt a issue!

I also have a aimpoint ML2 so when I say I like the 551 it means alot comeing from a DIE HARD FAN of AIMPOINT!!


BTW invisible soul  thanks for the tip! I use a ear plug as a gapper as well!

BTW A CAJUM Im with ya just carry extra batteries

Radio Shack, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral has them
Batteries Plus, US 41, Ft. Myers has them
Fowler Firearms, Fowler St., Ft Myers carries them but out of stock til Monday
