I have mastered the removal of the 20 round mag floorplate but have recently acquired some 30 rounders and don't have a clue. They don't come apart like the 20s but I haven't figured them out yet. Instead of "buggering" the floorplates I was hoping for some help. Thanks guys!

I just use a small screw driver and push up slightly on the back edge of the floor plate. There is a small piece of the floor plate that sits down and keeps the base plate from falling off.
