So I zero in my sights on my AR15 and MSAR E4 at 50 yards, realizing that at 100 yards it is an inch or so high, but by the time it gets out to 200-250 yards it is back down into my zero. I am good with that, I like that.

But I assume the 308 has a different trajectory, so is there a similar distance to zero at? 100? 75? What is its flight path like?

the ar10 faq has some numbers

as a note, the ar10 a2 sights are calibrated for 308, other 308 ARs are not

Per FM 23-8 "M14 and M14A1 Rifles and Rifle Marksmanship", battlesight zero for the M14 is 250m, obtained by zeroing to shoot 4.6cm high at 25m.
