Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 22 Conversion AR

I have a 20" Bushmaster V-Match and I was wondering the best way to convert to a 22LR. DPMS has an upper ($300) and Bushmaster reccomends their conversion kit ($140). Has anyone had any experience with either of these or any other reccomendations? Thank you in advance.

I use a ciener it functions flawlessly all the time.

I use a colt conversion in all my rifles, but it has found a semi permanent home in my daughter's cavarms/bushy carbine, I was concerned about lead build up in the gas system previously, so I used stingers/maximags as ammo and have had no problems with any of the uppers.My two cents...
