Is it Q3131A, (5.56mm) or the regular .223 Rem ammo? Not a bad deal either way. I'd stock up if it is the 5.56mm M193 ammo. The .223 ammo isn't M193 but still not bad.

See if it's Q3131A. If so, buy all you can. It comes out to $144/1000, which would be great. Otherwise, it's still a decent price for plinking ammo, but you could get com-block stuff cheaper (assuming it feeds OK in your rifle). I didn't see the price online. If you go, how about finding out if it's available for that price online (especially if it's Q3131A) ?

It's Q3131A. The Bass Pro in my neck of the woods have it too but the sale starts 8/1. Edit/ It is also "the best bang for the buck" per Troy. Samuel

So, it is confirmed that it's Q3131A, correct? What is the purchase limit? I will send all my relatives to get me some at that price!

Was all hyped to go to Bass-Pro this am,ck,d flyer-Sale starts Sat. Guess I know where I,ll be! Trying to decide how much to purchase, no limit or gr size stated in ad. Have never put any thru Bushy yet and I,ve got so much brass to reload now I,m sick of looking at it (not really) but its a lot of labor to do it right. As I posted on here before I hope to run several brands of 62 and 55 gr ammo this Wed to see what she likes.

How do tell if its Q3131A, (5.56mm) or the regular .223 Rem? Is it just as simple as the box is marked 5.56 and the other is .223? Or is there more to it?

If you look at the 20 round box, then the Winchester model number is on the short, small side flap. You mentioned the 5.56mm marking, and that's another clue, although not definitive. I don't think the other Winchester stuff is marked 5.56. But the side flap has the model number on it.

Anyone know if the store in the Gurnee mills area in Illinois is also running this sale. I don't get any flyers.

I hope so, as that is the closest one to me. Anyone hear what the limit is yet?

To answer a question above. The end flap on the box will either have Q3131A if it's M193 spec, if it's .223 spec, it will read RA223.
