is it true that a .223 round can be fired in a 5.56 nato weapon, but a 5.56 nato round can not be fired in a .223 weapon?  What gives?

well, i read the whole "oracle" and i'm really confused now.  guess it doesn't matter;  found out my Oly is chambered for 5.56 and will handle either.

1.  What are you really confused about?

2.  What makes you think your Oly is chambered in 5.56?
