Do most of you have 30 rds. mags ?  What about 20 rds ?  How hard is it to find 20 rds mags ?

eaglefirearms.net has USGI 20 rounders for $13.50 each if you buy them in a quantity of 10 or more.

I picked up 10 from DSGarms.  They were on sale at around $11.50.  I ran them a coupla weeks ago.  They worked perfectly.  It seems to me that the mag box length is just a touch shorter than my other USGI mags.  Less wiggle room.  But the SA and Wolf all went in and ran through the 16.  After about 900 rounds I started to get first round FTFeeds, but all fed on the second CH drop.  I sprayed some CLP on things and the problem disappeared.  Ran about 1300 rds through 2 uppers that day.

I like the older USGI 20's for their reliability, but I use the NHMTG 20's with USGI alloy followers as my shooters.

I really like the NHMTG mags because they're an exact copy of the old 20's except for finish.

I had some bad luck with the curved 20's.  Plus their longer. I prefer the older style 20 round mags.

I was curious, because I found a place in Alabama that has quit a few of the old 20 rds mags. I've already picked up about 10 of them. I'm thinking about getting the rest.

20rd magazines were meant to be straight, not gay (I mean "curved")...

Who made the mags?  I found a similar 'box' of 20's at a gun shop during the ban.  They were used Colts for $8 each.  I got 13 of them but should have bought the whole box.  I refinished them and got a new spring for each.  They were in very good condition.  I'd get them unless they're beat up.
