I have just received a GGG 20 MOA rail for my flattop and have a question. My scope was on the same upper, zeroed at 200 yards, just mounted on a different rail. Roughly, how far high will I be shooting with the scope installed on the 20 MOA rail.

Just trying to save myself some time when I make it back to the range.

Thanks in advance!!!

20 MOA at 200 yards equates to 40".

80 clicks on a 1/4 minute scope?? I do understand that that 20 MOA = 40" at 200, but doesn't the bullet trajectory influence this calculation.

I see people often with 20MOA scope bases shooting at shorter ranges, say 2-300 yards and they have said they are no where near the bottom of the scopes range, just slightly down from their 0MOA zero.

"Zeroed" implies you have matched the bullet trajectory to a point on a target at 200yds. The ONLY thing you have changed elevation-wise is to dial in 20MOA elevation.

Thanks guys. I think I am making this more difficult than it is.
