Hi guys. I'm an M1A guy who just bought his first AR15. Oly Arms PCR. (I know, I know. But it's got a forged receiver, a life time warranty, and I just love shooting this thing!)
Anyway, I've got a dumb newbie question. There's an angle-shaped plastic piece that screws onto the bottom of the (M4 type?) stock. What's it for? The manual shows a solid stock so it's no help. I've looked all over the site and can't figure it out. Somebody clue me in? Thanks.

Its just a faux telestock plunger,on a functional telestock you would depress this lever to adjust the length of the telestock.

Thanks, Roadrash. I was going crazy trying to figure out what it was supposed to do!

Welcome aboard from me as well. Hopefully next September this AW Ban will go away and you can put a real, working telestock on that rifle.

Hey nothing wrong with Oly, I have two. Welcome! If the AWB expires, you will be able to put a real telestock on, then you will see that it is the release for the telescoping stock.

Welcome to the greatest site on the web. You will learn more than you ever thought, you will laugh more than you ever thought and you will get involved(sometimes pissed off) more than you ever thought. This is the only site where it is an education and a thorn in your side at the same time, but that's what makes it so great!!! [beer] thedr

Welcome aboard, llahsram4. And congrats on the new AR. Once you get bit by the "AR Bug", you won't settle for just one. [wave]
