Hey all I have had my 20" AR for little over a year now and love it! Both with a scope, and irons which are more fun to shoot.

However I am looking to get somthing that is a little lighter so I was looking at a RRA 16" mid upper, my question is this going to be much lighter than my 20"? I plan on getting a collapsible stock by a reputable manufacturer to swap out with my A2. Also ill probably get sick of switching uppers and a new lower may magically appear on the workbench soon.

Thanks

Depends on what barrel profile your 16" is vs. the 20"

Well my 20" is a HBAR, and I am looking at the uppers from Legal-Transfers in the EE which I believe is a chrome lined HBAR. Really I am just choping off 4" of barrel and a few inches off the HGs and I will probably get a collapsible stock by CMT.
